The University Council determines the number of students to be admitted for the upcoming academic year on the basis of the recommendations by the College and respective Department councils. Starting the preparatory year the students are allowed to choose their major based on their performance in High School Grades, Ability Test (Qiyas) and Comprehensive Exam (Tahsili) as per the following composition of 30%, 30% and 40% respectively. The data of past five year's admissions has been shown in the following chart.
